Sitting in class..

Alright, I do take notes in class however I find myself playing poker, chatting on Facebook and on here. College is ok and all but my God classes get so boring sometimes. Not to mention my teacher says kinda thing or sorta thing after everything he says.

Just curious does anyone else just mess around online during classes? I dunno who is in college or done with college or in HS still...

What kind of things do you do to pass the time...in class?

In class I tended to learn.

Ahh just kidding. We talked, flirted, browsed internet for ICT lessons with computer access.. anything but listen..

But I'm long out of college now. I finished College 2004, 6 years ago!

God I feel old.

For the record, I now spend my WORK time on here, on a Police forum, skysports.com..

Though 90% of the time I spend here is on Tetris, Poker Wheel or Frogger.

Oh, I also 'blog' to take up my time, too.

I don't know what classes you are doing but there were only computers avaliable during IT classes when I was at school... no other lessons had us sitting near computers.

Same for when I was at college, were not near computers unless editing films and so on...

Is School THAT boring now.

When I was at school I day dreamed a lot. Didn't even have mobile phones then that had all the gadgets they have now... so couldn't even go online via a phone.

But the teachers at my schools before college were so good they had eagle eyes. We didn't stand a chance.

We used to have Call Of Duty LAN matches during lessons at college. They were made even more interesting when we had tutors that would walk around the room as they tought, meaning you'd sometimes have to minimise the game and pretend to be working leaving you open to easy kills.

Other than that I was mainly here or another forum I go to.

When I was last in college, in 2003, no one used laptops so we were forced to take notes to try and stay awake.
I had one class with my best friend and we would play dots. If you don't know what that is you draw a big grid of dots and you take turns drawing in two lines each and if you finish off the last line of a square you 'get' it. At the end the person with most squares wins.
Exciting stuff.
